Where Agriculture & Academics Creatively Collide!

DART's Academic Learning Farm is where academics and agriculture creatively collide! Our learning typically takes place outdoors, wether permitting, intentionally avoiding traditional desks and uniformed way of learning. That's what makes our sessions unlike any other! We teach multiple content areas, all while children learn first-hand about agriculture. 

Our lessons promote social and emotional learning and help students reduce conduct problems, decrease emotional stress, and improve test scores, grades, and attendance.  Class(es) are taught by our certified Early Childhood/Elementary Education teacher! 

Program Overview

• Program begins Aug 6th and ends May 22nd
• Ages 4 - 6
• Tuesday/Thursday from 9 am - 1 pm
• Daily healthy snack provided
• 1 class with 18 students
• Lessons center around agriculture & incorporate Alabama Course of Study standards
• $90 non-refundable registration fee, if awarded a space.
• $90 weekly tuition
